The ongoing special fair launched by Bashundhara Toiletries Ltd coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan has received a huge response from customers.

The fair features a significant 40% discount on the company’s entire range of toiletries.

Customers can take advantage of this discount at special fairs held every Friday in mosques and market areas.

There will be up to 40% off on essential toiletries throughout the fasting month.

Salespersons of the company were seen selling products in front of the Islamic Research Centre Bangladesh in Bashundhara Residential Area where a good number of customers were buying essential items from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.

Kaniz Fatema Smriti, a customer, said, “Bashundhara Tissue is a regular item for my home. I usually buy the product at Tk75 but today I got this at Tk45. This is really great. I have bought 10 packets of tissue.”

She also bought Extreme mosquito coil, Bashundhara hand towel, Bashundhara Pant System Baby Diaper, kitchen towel, A4 Paper Gold and toilet cleaner.

Md Ridoy, a salesperson busy handing over products and receiving money, said this is a special fair on the occasion of holy Ramadan.

“The demand for our products is always very high as Bashundhara never compromises with the quality. Yet we have launched a fair to offer discounts to our customers to relieve them from inflation.”

Customers were happy with the discounts offered at the fair and they thanked Bashundhara Group for the initiative.

“Actually I am familiar with the opposite culture. When Ramadan nears, all our businessmen increase the prices of their products in Bangladesh while prices of essential items drop in other countries during the holy month. Bashundhara Group has set an example,” Lutfur Rahman Badal, a middle-aged customer, told the Daily Sun.

He also urged other business entities to come up with similar initiatives.
